Before you can start using a facial cleanser to unclog your pores and fight acne. Use a skin strip test to know your skin type: normal, dry, oily and combination skin. These will make it easier to select from products that cater to your skin type. Look out for cleansing products with Salicylic acid. Salicylic acid works by breaking down dead skin cells that block your pores and lead to bad acne breakouts.
Wash your face twice a day, in the morning and the evening.
2. Facial Toner
Facial toning is an overlooked beauty step by both men and women. After you’ve washed your face with your favourite cleanser, sometimes, some traces of dirt and buildup are still on your face. Toning helps remove these last traces of dirt plus, it restores your skin to its normal Ph level and smoothens your skin. If you have oily skin, then using a toner is a beautiful must.
You can dab toner on a piece of cotton wool and use it on your face.
3. Facial Moisturizer
A facial moisturizer protects your face from becoming too dry or too oily. It also keeps your skin soft, improves skin elasticity and keeps it hydrated. Use a skin moisturizer product suitable to your skin type and, this includes oily skin. You can consult a trusted dermatologist for more information.
Moisturize your skin daily but discontinue if you notice an adverse reaction to your skin.
4. Beard Care
Your beard lets other people you’ve arrived in a room and, it’s a chance to show off. Don’t let a scruffy beard make you look disorganized and less of a gentleman. Always keep your beard trimmed evenly. Wash your beard with a gentle soap daily. Dry it with a clean, soft face towel. Use beard oil or a moisturizer to prevent it from drying out. Use a beard brush to comb it out and style as desired.
Alternatively, you can go for a clean-shaven look 😉
