Swahili Beach Resort

Swahili Beach is a lavish 5-star holiday resort located at the coastal Diani, Kenya beachfront. Its magnificent architecture, soulful music, and exotic aromas are evidence of the culture and history that provide its very soul.

The blend of African, Arabian, Indian, and Zanzibari influences within the resort makes it all the more beautiful and such a wholesome experience because you get the raw culture and modern style charmingly wrapped in one.

Swahili Beach A Luxury Tropical Vacation

Swahili Beach Resort

A unique feature of Swahili Beach is its series of horizon pools cascading down the property eventually leading you to the beach and giving you a glimpse of the Indian ocean.

This is a spectacle within the resort that makes it all the more pleasing to the eyes and creates such a calming effect when you are swimming or just lounging beside the pool.

The resort is host to 140 rooms each offering breathtaking views of the gardens, cascading pools, or the Indian ocean. The rooms come in standard, superior, and executive forms.

The superior and executive rooms come highly recommended as they have some of the best views.

The interiors of all rooms are designed to transport you to a world of traditional Swahili and Arab cultures. The extensively carved niches, Swahili furniture, and intricate deco are a representation of deep culture and contemporary style brought together to form luxury.

With quite spacious rooms, balconies, and room service always on call, you might just find yourself never wanting to leave the room.

Relish in a massage as well while you enjoy the view of the ocean and the rocking ocean waves offering background sounds for your relaxation. Don’t forget to pass by the sauna before leaving the building. Guests can also play table tennis, darts, and pool at the resort.

Bike hire is available too for biking lovers. Book a day at the Swahili Beach Club and enjoy access to an adult-only infinity pool and unlimited gin and tonics. On request, the guest relations team can be able to book activities available for you.

These activities include but are not limited to scuba diving, kite surfing, sky diving, renting dhows to explore the coastal waters, taking sundowner safaris to Shimba Hills, and enjoying drinks at the beach bars.

Their coconut kiss cocktails for example are perfect for a hot day, having a cool mixture of pineapple juice, coconut milk, and grenadine.

You could also choose to enjoy a Swahili sunset cocktail; a fine mix of rum, brandy, orange liqueur, and ice, as you enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Why You Should Visit Swahili Beach Resort

A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the resort giving you a wide range of breakfast options.

There are several restaurants on the property as well that you could explore and get a taste of different meals from different cultures. The Zanzibar Restaurant serves fresh Kenyan seafood brought by fishermen every morning and cooked in contemporary style.

Spice Route Restaurant serves a fusion of Kenyan-Indian food and the Majilis Restaurant is the main dining restaurant, serving buffets with different cuisines every night. Others you could choose from are the Kahawa lounge, Barazza Bar, The Palm Bar, and Barharini Beach Bar.
