About the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge property

The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is frequented by visitors all over the world as it offers a grand backdrop of the spectacular “Mosi-oa-Tunya” or the Smoke that Thunders often referred to as Victoria Falls .

Aside from the stunning spectacle that is the largest curtain of falling water on earth, the lodge offers views of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge waterhole frequented by elephants, buffalos and more game to quench their thirst.

Scenery

Notably described as the sunset-facing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge the plateau lodge offers views of immaculate wilderness stretching to the horizon.

The natural wonder, Victoria Falls, is approximately 1.7km wide and appears like a thundering wall of falling water.

What a site to behold!

Weather

The region experiences heavy summer rains but with that comes an opportunity to see the world’s largest sheet of falling water flowing at its greatest volume.

The lodge experiences a dry season between July and October.

Game viewing is excellent during this season when there is less water and not so thick bushes around and animals gather at the waterholes.

Getting Here

To arrive to the lodge by air from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, a flight will take under two hours.
